For new and aspiring guitar tutors

I help you get your first students and teach you how to keep them.

I'm building a referral network to connect you with the students I don't have space for and creating the resources I wish I'd had when I was starting out, so that you can skip the painful first year of tuition.

What I'm Building

Student Referrals

When my calendar is full, I pass enquiries directly to tutors in my network. Real students, ready to book. And you get to keep them, no questions asked.

Next Up

Tutor Community

A private group for network tutors to connect, share challenges, and support each other. Everything is easier when you're not doing it alone; that's a big reason I'm building this.

Who I Am

Kit Keenlyside, guitar tutor

My name is Kit.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started teaching while still performing, fell in love with it, and never looked back. These days I run a full practice in South East London - working with students of all ages, abilities, and ambitions.

My Mission

To make sure no student is left behind

My practice is full and I regularly can't take on new enquiries. Rather than turning them away, I wanted to connect them with tutors I'd genuinely trust.

To create genuinely independent tutors

I'm building something that lets tutors stand on their own two feet, instead of handing over a cut of their earnings to faceless middlemen, as I had to when starting out.

To push music education even further

So much of the way that music is taught is stuck in the past. I think we can do better than that if we want to create the next generation of great musicians.
